2500-W server power supply achieves 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency
July 05, 2012 | Paul Buckley | 222904832
TDK Corporation has announced that the TDK-Lambda HFE2500-48 power supply has now been certified to the stringent 80 PLUS Platinum level for redundant, server, and data center applications.
Achieving more than 94% maximum efficiency, the HFE2500-48 operates from a universal AC input of 85 to 265 Vac and provides a DC output of 12 V, 24 V or 48 V. With the 19-inch rack-mount enclosure, as many as four supplies can be paralleled with automatic load-sharing to provide up to 9.5 kW of output power.
