760-W high density front-ends deliver energy and space spacing benefits
Unipower's new SGL3000 Series of 760-W Front-Ends has introduced a high efficiency, high density, hot swap power sources that satisfies the latest networking and datacom applications that demand smaller size, lower energy consumption and a significantly reduced cost of ownership.
SGL3000 Front-Ends are 1U (1.57in) high and feature a power density of 17.5W/in³ with efficiency levels to 92%. The units operate from a universal 90 – 264 VAC input with a minimum power factor of greater than 0.95 and output voltages are 12 VDC and 5VSB. A 48 VDC input version is also available.
Operating temperature range is wide at -20 to +50ºC and each unit incorporates a variable speed cooling fan. N+N redundant operation is achieved with active load sharing and ORing protection circuitry. A Class A EMI filter is also standard.
SGL3000 Front-Ends feature both analog and PMBus communications for status and control while front panel LED indicators and an audible alarm provides status or fault information for easy identification in any environment.
Measuring 12.68 x 2.15 inch x 1U (322 x 54.6 x 40 mm), the SGL3000 meets all relevant safety standards including UL60950-1.
Like all UNIPOWER products, the SGL3000 Series comes with a two year warranty.
