Online tool selects LED driver
Future Electronics division Future Lighting rounds off its portfolio of free online tools that helps engineers designing efficient solid-state lighting solutions. The simulation tool allows customers to determine the driver that best meets their desired lighting solution.
The selection of the LED driver is a critical factor for any lighting system. Future Lighting's Driver Selector Tool allows users to significantly speed up the selection process of the driver that suits their application, doing away with iterative approaches. It does away with trade-off decisions for validation and justification of the design selected. The Driver Selector Tool uses an intelligent algorithm that suggests modifications in case the criteria entered do not yield a result.
With the tool, Future Lighting expands and rounds off its online toolset and at the same time it demonstrates its claim to support customers across their entire solution approach. The Driver Selection Tool complements Future Lighting's range of tools which comprises the Usable Light Tool and the SSL Designer - tools that help customers to test operation conditions associated to light yield as well as energy efficiency.
