June 26, 2012 | Paul Buckley | 222904791
Ultra-precision current sensing resistor series adds 5 Watt rated part Stackpole has added a 5 watt size to its ultra-precision current sensing resistor series, the CSS / CSSH.  The CSS4527 features resistance values from 0.5 milliohms up to 120 milliohms, in tolerances down to 0.5% and 50 ppm TCR.
In addition the CSS / CSSH series is capable of full power operation in temperatures up to 100 degrees C and can operate in temperatures up to 225 degrees C.

The CSS4527 is an ideal choice for current sensing in power supplies, motor controls, high power regulators, robotics, industrial controls, gasoline and diesel engine controllers, UPS systems, network diagnostic equipment, medical equipment, and rechargeable power tools.

Pricing

Pricing for the CSS / CSSH varies with resistance value and tolerance and ranges from $0.77 to $1.50 each in full reel quantities.
