Mini quartz crystals target Bluetooth Low Energy

Coming with comprehensive development support, low cost Mini-SMD quartz crystals from PETERMANN-TECHNIK target the rapidly growing Bluetooth Low Energy market. The quartz crystal comes in a 3.2 x 2.5 mm ceramic housing with very narrow frequency tolerances.

The highest quality SMD quartz crystals, which are produced in absolutely sterile conditions, come with basic frequencies of 12 to 60 MHz and frequency tolerances of ±10ppm or more. They can be supplied for working temperatures of 0/+40°C to -40/+125°C. Further, the SMD03025/4 series quartz crystals can be delivered to the AECQ200 automotive standard.

The ever expanding product range from the company offers devices for the 32.768 kHz clocking of Bluetooth Low Energy chipsets, such as the 32.768 quartz crystal in a 3.2 x 1.5 mm ceramic housing with a frequency tolerance of ±20ppm and standard load capacitances of 7, 9 and 12.5 pF. The mini-32.768 kHz quartz crystals can also be supplied with frequency tolerances of ±10ppm.

For customers needing even smaller quartz crystals, the company offers a 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.45 mm ceramic housing (SMD02016/4 series, 24 to 50 MHz basic sound frequency) and in a 1.6 x 1.2 x 0.3 mm housing (SMD01612/4 series, 32 to 52 MHz).
